Fueling the Next Generation of Women’s Cycling Champions

CCB Partner Prospectus

Then & Now

From a humble cycling club in 1960s England to the longest-running elite/pro team in the U.S., CCB has evolved into a nationally recognized development platform. Since 1976, we've graduated more riders to the pro ranks than any other U.S. program. Our club, based in Boston with members across five continents, continues to be a pipeline for future champions and global ambassadors of the sport.

Our signature pink and blue colors are instantly recognizable within the cycling world. They represent more than history—they represent a consistent commitment to growing the sport the right way.

CCB operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our structure includes:

  • Elite Women's Development Team

  • Junior Program (ages 12–18)

  • Event and Community Outreach Team

We own all equipment, logistics, and assets—ensuring long-term sustainability and full brand control. We maintain financial health through a blend of private donors, sponsorships, equipment sales, and a perpetual endowment via the Pro Cyclist Foundation.

Development Across Disciplines

Each discipline in our program is not just a category—it’s a deliberate environment to cultivate distinct skill sets and attributes that round out a complete rider.

Road

Teaches teamwork, tactical awareness, and endurance under pressure. We target stage races and one-day classics to develop both GC and support riders.

Gravel

Fosters resilience, self-reliance, and high-watt versatility. Our gravel calendar puts riders in the thick of mass-start events where pacing, positioning, and mechanical savviness are critical

Current Athletic Scope

Development Philosophy & Mission

Education Through Athletics

All CCB riders are required to pursue a college degree. This requirement—unmatched in the U.S. development system—creates smarter athletes, stronger communicators, and more responsible leaders.

The 3-Tier Progression Model

  1. Local/Regional: Learn to win

  2. National: Handle pressure and deep fields

  3. International: Adapt, compete, rise

Supported by the Pro Cyclist Foundation, we give athletes real, tangible pathways to long-term success.

501(C)(3) & Funding Model

As a registered nonprofit, CCB is funded through

  • Financial sponsorships

  • Individual donors

  • Pro Cyclist Foundation endowment

This diversified funding model ensures sustainability and transparency. 100% of sponsor dollars go toward athlete travel, education, race entry, and development—not overhead.

Community Integration

CCB isn’t just about race results. Our riders are embedded in the cycling community

  • AP-CCB Junior Development Team (12–18)

  • Women’s cycling clinics & shop rides

  • School Visits at Races

  • Best Buddies charity events & ride guides

Our athletes serve as mentors, not just competitors. They bring expertise, energy, and inclusivity to every interaction.

Brand Activation

Our sponsors don’t just get visibility—they get strategic integration:

  • Media access: Fully licensed image/video usage

  • Co-branded campaigns: Social, behind-the-scenes, helmet cams

  • On-site presence: Custom activations, giveaways, team meetups

  • Digital: Monthly content packages, product-focused creative

We work hand-in-hand with your marketing team to build stories that matter.

Multi-Year Partnerships

We look for three-year engagements to

  • Absorb initial equipment and activation costs

  • Build brand-rider familiarity and fan association

  • Monetary sponsorships grow over time within our endowment

  • Scale storytelling and digital momentum across race seasons

Year 1: Establish brand association + initial exposure
Year 2: Optimize campaign performance + rider engagement
Year 3: Drive long-term loyalty and measurable ROI
